The second planet orbiting around the remains of main-sequence star 15 Lyncis, it was only class-M planet in the system. It was home to a race known as the Caitians, a bipedal feline sentient species.

Ferasa was known for its spacecraft, which possessed remarkable agility. Caitian-supplied advancements in maneuverability helped out all Federation craft. It is also believed that the Caitians were not native to the planet, or to this dimension, but that they emerged through a spatial rift and settled on this planet sometime in what was, on earth, around the third century AD.

The capital city boasts the least traffic of any capital city in the Federation. Congestion is nonexistent.
